She was the wife of John Q. Peers of Bowling Green and a daughter of Samuel R. and Mrs. Sallie O’berry Vick of Newsoms. A native of Newsoms, she lived in Bowling Green several years and was a member of Bowling Green Methodist Church. Besides her husband and parents, surviving are one son, John Q. Peers, Jr. of Bowling Green and three brothers, B.R. Vick of Ahoskie, N.C., and S.C. Vick and Peter M. Vick of Newsoms. A funeral services was conducted in Newsoms Methodist Church Thursday at 3 p.m. Burial was in Newsoms Cemetery. The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home Franklin. Pallbearers were W.A. Baugham, B.J. Toombs, H.O. Noell, W.B. Coleman, B.L. Gravatt, Jr. and A.W. Laine. Annis (VICK; Mrs. John Q.)
