The Rosary was recited Monday night at 8 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Starkie Perry, R.C. Burton, Stanley King, Edgar Knight, G.T. Everett, Joe Modlin, Eley Vann and R.W. McCoy. Piersa Sr., 60, died Friday at 2 p.m. in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Monessen, Pa., he was a son of Adam and Mrs. Marcy Anna Drucka Piersa and the husband of Mrs. Annie G. Piersa. He was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Woodmen of the World, Moose Lodge 141, and Bronco Hunt Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Freddie Jackson of Crosby, Miss; three sons, Stanley Piersa and William Piersa of Franklin and Larry H. Piersa of Ft. Lee Air Force Base; and ten grandchildren.
