Pierce, age 86, retired mail carrier, died April 12, 1976. Survived by two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth P. Doles of Ivor, Mrs. Dorothy Fary of Shacklefords, Va.; one brother, Vernon L. Pierce of Emporia; two nieces and eight nephews. Remains rest at Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, where funeral services will be conducted 2 P.M. Wednesday, with interment in Capron Cemetery. A Masonic memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday at Echols Funeral Home. Friends are invited.
