Parker, died Thursday in Franklin Hospital*. She was a native of Southampton County, and was owner of Franklin Laundry and Dry Cleaners for many years. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church Sunshine Sunday School Class and the Franklin Home Demonstration Club. Besides her husband, surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Emmett Holt of Franklin; two sons, Rev. C.C. Blythe, Jr. of Amhurst, and Earving C. Blythe of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. R.V. Carpenter of Franklin; one brother, Emmett L. Edwards of Handsom; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in High Street United Methodist Church by Rev. Wade Munford. Burial in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Annie B.
