ANNIE BETTY EDWARDS BLYTHE PARKER 

   Mrs. Annie Blythe Parker, age 87, of 826 Clay St., wife of George W. 
Parker, died Thursday in Franklin Hospital*.  She was a native of Southampton 
County, and was owner of Franklin Laundry and Dry Cleaners for many years. 
She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church Sunshine Sunday School 
Class and the Franklin Home Demonstration Club.  Besides her husband, 
surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Emmett Holt of Franklin; two sons, Rev. C.C. 
Blythe, Jr. of Amhurst, and Earving C. Blythe of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. 
R.V. Carpenter of Franklin; one brother, Emmett L. Edwards of Handsom; nine 
grandchildren; three great grandchildren.  A funeral service will be held 
Sunday at 3 p.m. in High Street United Methodist Church by Rev. Wade Munford. 
Burial in Poplar Spring Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Annie B. 
Parker memorial fund of the church.  W.J.M. Holland and Son Funeral Home in 
charge.
