Brittle. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley, Va. Pallbearers were Bruce Blythe, Al Bulls, Andy Blythe, Greg Stephenson, Paul Parker and Bert Parker. He died Saturday as the result of an automobile accident in Suffolk. A native of Gates County, he was a son of Tim J. and Katherine Blythe Parker. He was a mechanist at Franklin Equipment Co., Franklin and a Navy veteran. Other survivors include two sisters, Miss Nancy C. Parker of Virginia Beach and Miss Janet Paige Parker of Chapel Hill; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hunter Blythe of Franklin.
