Mr. Parker, an Isle of Wight County native, retired from Suffolk Screen Co. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church, Colosse; Isle of Wight Ruritan Club; and the Suffolk REACT Club. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Vick Parker; three daughters, Donna Post and Deborah Martin, both of Windsor, and Eunice Moxley of Chesapeake; a sister, Gladys P. Askew of Suffolk; two brothers, G.L. Parker of Franklin, and S. Edward Parker of Pennsville, N.J.; and four grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Friday in Sidley F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. H.B. Fisher. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park, Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Rescue Squad.
