Parker, 69, was held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Allen Melton. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Parker died Wednesday, March 9, in his home. A native of Tarboro, N.C., he was employed at Airport Limousine Service. He was a veteran of the Army. Survivors include two sons, Ralph M. (Buster) Parker Jr. of Suffolk and Larry Parker of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Julia Spence of Franklin and Sadie Kizer of Suffolk; a brother, Wade H. Parker of Franklin; and five grandchildren.
