RALPH MINTON PARKER

   NORFOLK - A funeral service for Ralph M. Parker, 69, was held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Allen Melton.  Burial 
was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Parker died Wednesday, March 9, in his home.

  A native of Tarboro, N.C., he was employed at Airport Limousine Service. 
He was a veteran of the Army.

   Survivors include two sons,  Ralph M. (Buster) Parker Jr. of Suffolk and 
Larry Parker of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Julia Spence of Franklin and 
Sadie Kizer of Suffolk; a brother, Wade H. Parker of Franklin; and five 
grandchildren.
