BABY BOY PORTER

   NEWSOMS - The infant son of Walter Lee and Inez Horne Porter died Saturday 
at a local hospital.  Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Susan Gayle 
Porter, a brother, Stephen Lee Porter of the home, and his paternal 
grandfather, L.L. Porter of Newsoms.

   A funeral service was conducted at 9 a.m. Sunday in the Newsoms Cemetery, 
by the Rev. B.W. Coe, pastor of Newsoms Methodist Church.
