All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ EDNA CRUMPLER PORTER FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Edna Crumpler Porter, 65, was held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home by the Revs. Arthur Green, Kenneth Williams and Harry Bunch. Burial was in Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ben Bryant, William Britt, Walter Bishop, J.L. Porter, J.C. Johnson, Julian Fowler, Henry Fowler and James Bryant. Mrs. Porter died Friday in a hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was the wife of Ray Porter. She was a member of Mount Horeb United Methodist Church. Other survivors include a brother, P.D. Crumpler Jr. of Franklin. Edna (CRUMPLER; Mrs. Ray L.)
