Daniel Spell and the Rev. Daniel Ivy. Burial was in Drewryville Cemetery with McDowell Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were William A. Partridge, Eddie A. Partridge, Harry Lee Partridge Jr., William F. Partridge Jr., Robert T. Powell, Walter L. McGinniss, Samuel B. Drewry and Jerry D. Rice. Mrs. Partridge, 88, died Tuesday in her home after a brief illness. A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of William Allen Partridge and a daughter of Samuel and Mrs. Bettie Murfee Ellis. She was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Louise P. Haga of Luray; four sons, William S. Partridge of Chase City, John E. Partridge of Branchville, Allen M. Partridge of Drewryville and Harry L. Partridge of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Frances Bettie (ELLIS; Mrs. William A.)
