PARHAM Elizabeth Lovegrove Parham, 84, died peacefully April 9, 2000, at the East Pavilion in Franklin. Born Sept. 3, 1915, in Scotland Neck, N.C., she was a long-time resident of Capron and the widow of Lewis T. Parham. She was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Louise Parham, 10 brothers and sisters, and three stepchildren. Survivors who loved her include two sons, Louis H. Parham and his wife, Joyce, of Capron and Russell E. Parham and his wife, Louise, of Claremont; three daughters, Barbara P. Bryant of Courtland and her husband, Hereford B. Bryant, of Franklin, Linda P. Blythe of Courtland, Judith P. Davis and her husband, David, of Grafton; a stepdaughter, Hettie P. Murphy and her husband, Al, of Akron, Ohio; a brother, Jake Lovegrove of Scotland Neck, N.C.; 13 grandchildren, Franklin E. Parham of Richmond, Tracy Parham of Courtland, Tommy Parham of Suffolk, Ronnie Parham of Waverly, Kenny Parham of Claremont, Teresa Buhls of Waverly, Dale B. Whitford of Ernul, N.C., Dana B. Brown of Richmond Hill, Ga., Lisa B. Darden of Sedley, W. Chris Blythe of Boykins, Karen N. Davis of Fredericksburg, Kathi D. Jenkins of Yorktown and Robin N. Davis of Blacksburg; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Capron Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas R.
