PRINCE FRANKLIN - David Tilden Prince, 89, died Thursday in a Newport News hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of David and Mrs. Betty P. Prince and the husband of Mrs. Annie Eley Prince. He was a member and former deacon of Franklin Baptist Church, a former mayor of Franklin, and a member of the Town Council several years. Besides his wife, he is survived by three nieces. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins and the Rev. Robert Fridley.
