All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ FRANK RAYO Frank Rayo, 79, died at 5:30 o'clock Thursday morning, January 13, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Vargo, in Courtland after an illness of several weeks. He was a native of Hungary, coming to this country about 50 years ago and receiving his naturalization papers about 26 years ago. He had been making his home in the Courtland community for the past 14 years. Surviving him are his daughter, Mrs. Vargo, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Holland Funeral Home in Franklin at four o'clock Friday afternoon, with Rev. E.R. Collie, pastor of the Courtland Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Courtland cemetery, the pallbearers being E.A. Applewhite, Frank Marks, Thomas Vaughan, John Vargo, Joe Mamat and John Kume.
