[Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch.] November 24, 1877. The employés of the Atlantic. Mississippi and Ohio railroad all along the line have I been paid off for the month of October. They also received their back wages, such as had not been assigned, for November, 1875. This leaves only four months of back wages unpaid. The pay-train, in charge of Captains J.B. Gregory and G.F. Schooler, left for Norfolk at an early hour this morning. A telegram received last evening from Southampton county announced the death on yesterday of the wife of Rev. George Rives, of the Virginia Conference. She was about fifty years of age, and a daughter of the late Captain John Pollard, of this city. A remains of the wife of Rev. George Rives, of Southampton county, will reach the city on the train from Weldon to-night at 6:12 o'clock, and will be taken to Blandford Cemetery for interment. The ceremonies at the grave, which will take place after nightfall, will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Riddick.
