ELIZABETH FRANCES SIMMONS REVELLE 

   A funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons Revelle of Handsom will be 
held today at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, by 
the Rev. Harry Bunch.

   Burial will be in Newsoms Cemetery.

   Pallbearers will be Jim Dunlow, Robert Good Joyner, Lauren Ferguson, James 
Bracey, Floyd Revelle, J.P. Simmons, Wallis Simmons and Howard Simmons Jr.

   Mrs. Revelle, 83, died Tuesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of Robert P. Revelle and 
a daughter of Charles H. and Mrs. Virginia Miles Simmons.

   She was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church and its Women’s 
Society of Christian Service and Ladies Bible Class.

   She was a retired nurse.

   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Virginia R. Stephenson and Mrs. Hazel R. 
Stephenson of Franklin; three sons, Russell F. Revelle of Hampton and Richard 
T. Revelle of Columbus, Ga.; two brothers, Joseph S. Simmons of Sebrell and 
Howard C. Simmons of Branchville; 12 grandchildren; and sever great-
grandchildren.

   The family will be at the home of Mrs. Virginia Stephenson of 1332 Clay 
St., Franklin.
