ANISE HAZEL RAIFORD RAIFORD

   IVOR - Mrs. Anise Hazel Raiford, 88, died Wednesday in the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Edgar Lowe.

   She was the widow of Fabius Raiford and a daughter of Henry and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Raiford of Southampton County.

   Mrs. Raiford was a life-ling resident of Southampton County and a member of 
Corinth Meeting.

   Surviving are two other daughter, Mrs. J.W. McDearmon of Appomattox and Mrs. 
John Duck of Windsor; two sons, Dudley Raiford of Ivor and Robert Raiford of 
Appomattox; two sisters, Mrs. Lula M. Lowe of Suffolk and Mrs. S.J. Powell of 
Franklin six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

   A funeral service was conducted in Corinth Meeting today at 3:30 p.m. by 
James E. Coney and Christopher E. Rigby, III, minister of Friends. Burial was 
in the family cemetery near Ivor.

   Pallbearers were: Paul Branch, Elton Raiford, Wilroy Stephenson, Herman 
Barnes, John C. Raiford, and Elton Stephenson.
