Raiford, 74, wife of William H. Raiford, died at her home in the Corinth community Tuesday morning. Besides her husband Mrs. Raiford is survived by four sons, Dr. Ernest T. Raiford of Ann Arbor, Mich., Ralph W. Raiford of Richmond, W. Burnley Raiford of Corinth and Lindley M. Raiford of Washington; two daughters, Mrs. J.J. Wetherald of Berwyn, Md., and Miss Marjorie Raiford of Corinth; a sister, Mrs. Burgess Raiford of Corinth, and 15 grandchildren. Services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock from Corinth Friends Church by the James R. Stein, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Jesse A. Stanfield of Baltimore, a former pastor and the Rev. W.B. Watson, pastor of Black Creek Baptist Church. A solo, "When I Come to the End of the Way," was sung by E. Jerome Raiford, while a duet "Abide with Me" was sung by Rev. and Mrs. Stanfield, Mrs. E. Wistar Raiford accompanying. Burial took place in the family plot near the home of the deceased. Pallbearers were Wistar Raiford, T. Philip Raiford, Edward F. Raiford, Johnnie Stephenson, Charles E. Neave, Johnnie Camp, R.L. Corbitt and Joseph L. Hare. Ada Jane (HEDGEPETH; Mrs. William H.)
