ELIZABETH ROBERTS RAIFORD

   The body of Mrs. William G. Raiford, who died at Monroe, N.C., Wednesday 
while visiting in the home of Geo. W. Bradshaw, was brought to Franklin 
yesterday afternoon and taken to her home in the Corinth community.  Mrs. 
Raiford, who was 64 years of age, was before her marriage Miss Elizabeth 
Roberts of Montgomery County, Penn, and was one of the best and most useful 
women of her church and community.  She is survived by her husband and three 
children, Mrs. Charles Glenn of Raleigh, Eugene Raiford of Westtown, Penn., 
and Jesse T. Raiford of Richmond.

   Funeral services will be held from Corinth Friends Church this Friday 
afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.
