When Corinth friends Church was organized she became a member of that congregation and was faithful and consistent to her death, always attending its services until failing health prevented. At the age of 25 years she married Henry Raiford, who preceded her to the grave 15 years ago. From this union were born nine children, two of whom died in infancy, those surviving being six daughters, Mrs. - M.A. Mumford, Fabius Raiford, S.J. Powell, W.S. Lowe, W.N. Galtress, J.S. Morris, and one son, K.H. Raiford, besides 52 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two brothers, John R. and L.P. Raiford, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from Corinth Friends Church by Rev. Nathan Pickett and the choir sang three of her favorite hymns. The pallbearers were J.S. Morris, W.R. Galtress, W.S. Lowe and Fabius, K.H., W.B. J.T., L.P., Albert, Hunter D., Wm. H. and T. Philip Raiford.
