Burial was in the church cemetery. Miss Raiford died Tuesday night at Petersburg General Hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Elizabeth Babb Raiford. She taught in the Prince Edward School System for 44 years before her retirement. She was a member of Corinth Friends Meeting in Southampton. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C.E. McFarland, Alexandria and Mrs. Julia Raiford Urquhart of Sedley.
