BAUGHAM RICKS Funeral services for Mrs. Lelia Francis Baugham Ricks, 68, who died at her home at Vincent's Grove, near Courtland, Saturday afternoon, June 30, after an illness of many months, were conducted Monday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. David Wills, Jr., and Rev. William Stennett officiating. Mrs. Ricks, a lifelong resident of Southampton County was the wife of William J. Ricks and the daughter of the late Elisha T. and Emma Barkley Baugham of Southampton county. Sshe was a member of Capron Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Annie Baugham of Newsoms; five step-sons, Elmo Ricks of Camden, N.C., Sidney and Ricky Ricks of Norfolk, Marvin Edward Ricks, of Baltimore, Md, and Jesse Ricks of Courtland, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Ricks Morris of Norfolk. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, and the active pallbearers were Sidney Ricks, Elmo Ricks, David Johnson, Dallas Johnson, Lloyd Burgess and Emerson Burgess.
