Holland & Sons Funeral Home in Franklin. Rev. Ira D. Hudgins conducted the service. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were W.L. Young, Sr., C.L. Banks, George Lupton, Raymond Porter, Claude Wall, J.M. Walker, Leroy Magette, and Dellie Cotton. Mrs. Rose, 73, died Friday morning in a Petersburg hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of James Bogue and Mrs. Mary Wills Beale and the widow of Frank Paul Rose. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, F. Paulette Rose and Sol L. Rose of Franklin; a brother, Willard J. Beale of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Annie Powell of Lawrenceville; and nine grandchildren.
