All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ FRANK PAUL ROSE Funeral services for Frank Paul Rose, 54, who died at his home on the Franklin-Courtland highway on Friday night, February 2, were conducted Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Franklin Baptist Church, Rev. J.C. Lanning and Randolph Gregory officiated. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery the pallbearers being H. Boothe, J.W.D. Fowler, Ted Inge, Henry Johnson, Ulysses Kitchen, S.W. Rawls, Jr., Wallace Simmons, Pete Taylor and Matthew Turner. The deceased was the son of the late Frank and Mattie Bracey Rose of the Franklin community, and husband of Mrs. Lina Sue Beale Rose, who survives him. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church, the Woodmen of the World, and the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department. He had been an employee of S.W. Rawls, Inc., for many years. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Francis Paulette Rose of Franklin and Sol Lynch Rose of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; and a sister Mr. L.T. Wellons of Sedley.
