Holland & Sons on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Officiating was Rev. O.L. Gochenour, pastor of the Newsoms Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. L.F. Smith, pastor of the Newsoms Baptist Church. Burial was in the Newsoms cemetery. Active pallbearers were LeRoy E. Schultz, Edgar Schultz, John M. Aubel, E. Beale Carter, Quinton Ferguson, R.B. Story, Fred Worrell and Milton Worrell. The deceased was the son of Charles I. and Mrs. Roberta Carter Ruckle of Maryland [...*] Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Violet Worrell Ruckle, and a son, Robert W. Ruckle, both of Newsoms; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Schultz of Pikeville, N.C. There is a line running through the print at the top and middle of many of the papers and it effected many of the obits. I've put elipses for the part that's missing.
