POWELL ROGERS SUFFOLK - Mrs. Ida Powell Rogers, 75, of 203 N. Broad St., a former resident of the Franklin community died Sunday at 7:55 a.m. in Obici Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was a daughter of John* Wellons and Mrs. Sarah Carr Powell of Isle of Wight County and widow of Beverly Booth Rogers of Courtland. She was a member of High Street Methodist Church, Franklin, and a life member of Courtland Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, B. Rudolph Rogers of Suffolk; two brothers, John W. Powell of Franklin and Joseph Powell of Zuni; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Courtland Cemetery by the Rev. Harris Kessler of Main Street Methodist Church, Suffolk. Ida M. (POWELL; Mrs. Beverly B.)
