ALINE SUMRALL RICHARD

   FRANKLIN - Aline Sumrall Richard, 95, died Nov. 22, in a hospital.

   Mrs. Richard, a native and former resident of Lake Charles, La., was the 
widow of William E. Richard Sr.  She was a member of the Episcopal Church of 
the Good Shepherd of Lake Charles.

   Survivors include a son, William E. Richard Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; 
and two grandchildren.

   The graveside service was conducted Tuesday in Poplar Spring Cemetery by 
the Rev. Ben. R. Duffey.

   Memorial donations may be made to the Endowment Fund of Emmanuel Episcopal 
Church, Franklin.

   Wright Funeral Home handled arrangements.
