ELSIE MURRELL RICHARDSON

   PETERSBURG - Mrs. Elsie Murrell Richardson of 2535 Crestwood Ave., 
Oakhurst, died Sunday morning.

   Survivors include her widower, Hugh Prince Richardson; a daughter, Mrs. 
Murrell R. Hoffman of Petersburg; a son, Winston H. Richardson of Colonial 
Heights; two sisters, Mrs. H.C. Lassiter of Petersburg and Mrs. H.S. Miles 
of Suffolk; and five grandchildren.

   A funeral service will be conducted in J.T. Morris & Sons Funeral Home 
Wednesday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. Glenn Womack of First Baptist Church of 
which Mrs. Richardson was a member 40 years, and the Rev. Dr. Linwood T. 
Horne of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.  Burial was in Blandford Cemetery.

   A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of Jesse Francis and 
Emily Louise Holt Murrell and lived here most of her life.
