[Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch.] February 14, 1879. [...] The remains of Mr. F.T. Ridley, a well-known citizen of Southampton county, who died a day or two ago, were brought to this city this afternoon, and interred in Blandford Cemetery, where the family have a square. The body was met at the depot by an escort of Blandford Lodge, No. 3, of Masons, and was interred in accordance with the rites and honors of the Masonic order. His family appears in the 1870 Census in Drewryville Dist, Southampton Co. - he & his father's initials mis-read F.S.
