  Information reached the city yesterday of the death of 
Mr. Francis T. Ridley, at his home in Southampton county. 


"Frank" Francis Thomas RIDLEY, 
d. 28 Mar 1897, at home, Southampton Co., age circa 80, 
interred in Blandford Cemetery (unmarked*), Petersburg, 
"The Norfolk Virginian," Mar. 30, 1897, p. 6, col. 2

His paternal uncle was the first owner of "Rock Spring" plantation, 
   where he is buried, unmarked.
