Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were F.F. Powell, Marion Whitfield, William H. Cutchins, Carlton Cutchins, Jack Holland, Otto Harcum, Willie Burrow, and Walter Norfleet. Mrs. Rawls died Saturday at 11:25 a.m. in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Franklin, she was a daughter of Isaac Edgar and Mrs. Pattie Rawls Howell and the widow of John Daniel Rawls. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and its King Servants Bible Class. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth R. Saunders of Franklin, Mrs. India R. Tatem of Norfolk; Mrs. Lynda R. Kelly of Woodstock, and Mrs. Evelyn R. Todd of Delray Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Lillie Rawls (HOWELL; Mrs. John D.)
