ROBERTA LEE LEWIS FRISTOE RAWLS

   FRANKLIN - Mrs. Roberta Fristoe Rawls, 91, of 1008 Clay St. died Wednesday 
afternoon in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   She was a native of Baltimore and lived here 50 years.  She was the widow 
of Robert Rawls.

   She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.  She was a musician in her 
earlier years.  She was a member of the Franklin Music Club.

   She was a retired insurance executive and a partner in R.P. Rawls and Sons.

   Survivors include a son, Robert Ashby Rawls of Virginia Beach; three 
sisters, Mrs. Sadie F. Cashatt of Byrson City, N.C., Mrs. Mary F. Blumbert of 
Westfield, N.J., and Mrs. Louise F. Arnold of Tuckerton, N.J.; two 
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

   A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the 
Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.  Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, has charge.  Memorial 
donations may be made to charity of choice.  The family will be at the home of 
S.W. Rawls, Jr. of Woods Hill on Clay Street.
