Randolph Rawls, died at Lakeview Hospital Monday afternoon after a short illness. Robert was a student in Holland High School and a member of South Quay Baptist Church since early childhood. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Garrie Jones Rawls; two sisters, Elizabeth and Jean; two brothers, Charles and twin brother James J. Rawls, all of Nansemond County. Funeral services were held at the Rawls home near South Quay Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. W.H. Corbill. Burial was made in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin. Active pallbearers were: W.R. Savage, Franklin Robertson, John Robertson, Bruce Johnson, James Jones, S.W. Rawls, Jr., Lawrence Holland and James Rawls.
