R.L. Consolvo. Pallbearers will be: L.A. Brantley, Harvell Railey, Julian A. Felts, E.V. Stephenson Jr., W.C. Britt, R.M. Felts, T.N. Pulley, J.C. Epps Sr., Ernest W. Pittman, Homer S. Saunders and W.B. Smith. Burial will be in Ivor Cemetery. Rawls, 98, died early Monday in Hermitage Home in Richmond. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Richard Henry and Mrs. Mary Kilby Rawls and the husband of the late Mrs. Ruth Cobb Rawls. He was a retired merchant and the oldest member of Ivor United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James A. Thomson of Alexandria; a sister, Mrs. J.R. Rollings of Elberon; two brothers, Robert H. Rawls of Richmond and Hugh M. Rawls of Surry; a grandson; and a granddaughter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be sent to the Infirmary Building Fund of Hermitage Home, Richmond.
