MARTHA EUGENIA WILLIAMS ROLLISON

    Courtland - A funeral service for Mrs. Eugenia Williams Rollison was 
conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Courtland United Methodist Church by the Rev. 
Bobby P. Tyson and the Rev. C.W. Gibson Jr.  Burial was in Riverside Cemetery 
with W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home in charge.

   Pallbearers were George J. Close, R. Edwards Williams, Jr., Gillette T. 
Bryant Sr., Hampton H. Edwards, Elmo Pittman, and Edwards W. Cobb.

   Mrs. Rollison, 86, died Thursday in her home.

   A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of Alpheus Augustus and 
Mrs. Rebecca Louise Briggs Williams and the widow of John William Rollison.

   She was a member of Courtland Methodist Church and an honorary member of 
Women’s Society of Christian Service.

   She is survived by a son, John William Rollison Jr. of Courtland, and two 
sisters, Mrs. Will E. Edwards of Wytheville and Mrs. Samuel N. Cobb of Courtland.
