Rawlings, died in the Medical College Hospital, Richmond, on Friday afternoon, October 15, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Fannie Higgins Vincent of Maryland and Gates County, N.C., and a niece of the late W.H. Vincent of Capron. She was a member of the Capron Methodist Church and was prominent in the religious and social affairs of her community. Surviving her are two children, Mrs. Darden W. Jones and William V. Rawlings, both of Franklin; four grandchildren, "Watt" and "Eddy" Jones and Elizabeth and Arthur Rawlings, all of Franklin; one sister, Miss Elizabeth Vincent of Suffolk; and three brothers, John A. Vincent of Suffolk, Harvey Vincent of Philadelphia and Will Vincent of Baltimore. Funeral services for Mrs. Rawlings were held at the residence in Capron on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock by Dr. John G. Truitt of Suffolk and Rev. R.H. Marks of Capron. There were many beautiful floral designs, the pall being of pink and white carnations, calla lilies and orchids. Burial was in the Capron cemetery. Irma (VINCENT; Mrs. Edgar E.) RAWLINGS, b.
