He was a native of Southampton County; the husband of Deanna Harcum Rawlings; and the son of Robert A. and Irma Babb Rawlings Jr. He was a member of the Courtland United Methodist Church; an employee of Rawlings and Company Mechanical Contractors. Other survivors include one daughter, Leslie L. Rawlings; one son Robert Brandon Rawlings; both of Courtland; two brothers, Glenn Babb Rawlings and Steven C. Rawlings; both of Courtland. A graveside service will be held Sunday at 3:00P.M. in Riverside Cemetery but the Rev. Richard S. NcNutt. Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
