MYRA OSBORNE RAYMOND

   FRANKLIN - A graveside service for Mrs. Myra Osborne Raymond was conducted 
Monday at 2 p.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by Dr. Ira D. Hudgins.  W.J.M. 
Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge.

   Pallbearers were Edward F. Gilliam, J. Vaughan Beale, J. Floyd Briggs, 
James Lankford, Guy Picot, Robert C. Ray, S.W. Rawls Jr., and Walter A. Brett.

   Mrs. Raymond, 84, died Friday in a Petersburg hospital.

   A native of Waynesville, N.C., she was a daughter of James and Mrs. Jane 
Wells Osborne and the widow of the Rev. Frank Barrett Raymond.

   She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

   She is survived by a son, Frank Barrett Raymond, Jr. of Danville; a 
brother, Smith Osborne, and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hall, Mrs. Mary Reeves, 
and Mrs. Lee Tranthan, all of Candler, N.C.; four grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
