PERCY WELDON SHAW

   NEWSOMS - Percy Shaw, 77, died Monday morning at the home of his brother, 
Willie A. Shaw.

   He was the son of the Daniel W. and Mrs. Addie Jones Shaw and was a member 
of the Courtland Methodist Church.

   Besides his brother, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Eula Ferguson of 
Carrsville, and one nephew, Marshall Shaw of Portsmouth.

   Graveside services were conducted Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Riverside 
Cemetery, Courtland, by the Rev. James B. Douglas, pastor of the High Street 
Methodist Church.
