All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ELIZABETH CLARA EASON SPEIGHT KINGSDALE - Mrs. Elizabeth Eason Speight, 81, died early Saturday morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. George Joyner in Kingsdale after a long illness. She was the widow of Joseph S. Speight and the daughter of Timmie and Mrs. Sarah Eason. Mrs. Speight was a native of Chowan County, N.C. and a member of the Ballard Bridge Baptist Church. Surviving her besides her daughter are two sons, W.B. Speight of Franklin and Emmett Speight of Baltimore; two grandchildren. The funeral service was conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. in the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. John S. Steele, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Nottoway Chapel Cemetery, Southampton County. Pallbearers were W.T. Eason, Keely Eason, Rufus Eason, Norman Eason, Carey Eason and Joseph Eason. Elizabeth Clara "Betty" (EASON; Mrs. Joseph S.)
