OREN LEE SPAIN

  PORTSMOUTH - Oren Lee Spain, 76, of 233 Dale Drive died Wednesday in a 
hospital.

  A native of Newsoms, he was a Army veteran of World War I.  He was a 
member of the Carpenters Union Local 303.

  Survivors include a sister, Miss Myrtle Barham Spain of Chesapeake.

  A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Hollywood Cemetery, 
Newsoms, by the Rev. Harry Bunch.  McDowell Funeral home, Boykins, has charge.
