She was a member of Franklin Christian Church. She was the wife of the late William M. Shafer and a daughter of Daniel P. and Mrs. Catherine Clark of Oregon. Surviving are four nieces. A funeral service was held in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, pastor of Franklin Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Alton Vick, R.L. Wellons, J.L. Rountree, Floyd Wellons, Jr., Jack Jacovides and M.O. Wagenbach. Mildred (CLARK; Mrs. William M.)
