A native of Russia, he came to the United States in 1912 but had no relatives in this country. A member of the Catholic Church, he was engaged in logging. Funeral services were conducted at the Holland Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock by Rev. William D. McGonigle, pastor of St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Ballard, Raymond Bess, James A. Jones, J.A. McClenny, Hugh Modlin and Lonnie Vaughan. Wash SESTO, of Camptown, logger, native of Russia, immigrated 1912, d. 25 Aug 1958, Franklin, age 68, interred in Poplar Spring Cemetery (unmarked*), Franklin, 26 Aug 1958, "The Tidewater News" (Franklin, VA), Sep. 4, 1958, Sect.
