SKEETER Mrs. Blanche Carr Skeeter, age 29, well known resident of Zuni, died Sunady [sic] at a Suffolk hospital after an illness of many weeks. Mrs. Skeeter was the wife of W.T. Skeeter, of Zuni and the daughter of Mrs. Lizzie and Paul Carr of Southampton County. She was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her death. Besides her husband and parents she is survived by one daughter, Margaret Ann, and one son, Paul Thomas Skeeter, both of Zuni; two sisters, Miss Martha Carr, of Zuni, and Mrs. Waverly Oney, of Wakefield; two brothers, Willie and Cleveland Carr, of Zuni and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church by the Rev. Kissenger [sic; Kissinger].
