Harry W. Bunch. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. She died Wednesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was the wife of Karl Wilbur Scott. She was a retired Franklin schoolteacher. She was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church and was church organist and pianist for a number of years. She also was president of United Methodist Women. She taught for more than 30 years in Franklin public schools, retiring 10 years ago. She was a graduate of Longwood College and a member of the Retired Teachers Association and of Senior Citizens. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Scott Snider of Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Garnet Whitley Sr. of Franklin; and two grandchildren. Elizabeth (HEDGEPETH; Mrs. Karl W.)
