Mr. Stieh, a native of Southampton County, was a farmer and a member of Corinth Friends Meeting of Ivor. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Wakefield Sportsmen’s Club and the Green Level Group of the Wakefield Hunt Club. Survivors include three sisters, Minnie S. Bulls of Sedley, Edith S. Powell of Fayetteville, N.C., and Marjorie S. Bradshaw of Zuni; four brothers, William H. Stieh Sr. and Charlie F. Stieh, both of Ivor, Edward M. Stieh of Sedley and J.E. Stieh of Franklin. The funeral was conducted July 27, in Purviance Funeral Home by Cafer Marley. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
