MARY EMMA SCOTT

Mary Emma Scott, 41, of Courtland died at 9:20 a.m. yesterday, after the car 
she was driving and another car collided on U.S. 58 near state Route 671 in 
Southampton County at 1:10 a.m.

State police said the car Ms. Scott was driving struck a rail and turned over, 
then it and the other car collided.  She died at Norfolk General Hospital.
