All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ SUSANNA SCOTT Mrs. Susanna Scott, aged 79, widow of Winfield Scott, and a life-long resident of this community, entered into eternal rest at the home of her son in Dendron, September 7, after a lingering illness. She was a faithful member of Trinity M.E. Church and a regular attendant upon its services until prevented by ill health. Mrs. Scott is survived by the following children; Eddie Scott of Sebrell, Charlie and Lynn Scott of Dendron, Mrs. Fannie Denson of Petersburg and J.L. Scott and Mrs. Rebecca Davis of Sedley. In the presence of a large number of friends her body was laid to rest by the side of her husband in Trinity Cemetery Saturday, September 9. The burial services were conducted at the grave by her Pastor, Rev. J.E. Brooks, assisted by Rev. S.C. Owen of Dendron. The choir of the Dendron M.E. Church sang.
