The wife of Nathaniel E. Stephenson and the daughter of Mrs. Bettie Gray Gurkin and the late Grady Gurkin of Jamesville, N.C. She lived here 16 years and was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church. Survivors include her widower; her mother; two sons, Edward G. Stephenson of Norfolk and James Kenneth Stephenson of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Grady Barnhill of Plymouth, N.C., and Mrs. Debrow Best of La Grange, N.C.; a half brother, Fred Allen of Jamesville; and a grandchild. A funeral service was conducted in Poplar Spring Cemetery Wednesday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. H.W. Tribble of Hunterdale Christian Church. Elizabeth (GURKIN; Mrs. Nathaniel E.)
