Stephenson, died at the residence at Unity, this county, Tuesday morning, September 28, after an illness of many months. At the time of her death she was 74 years of age. Mrs. Stephenson was the daughter of the late Capt. Benjamin D. and Allie White Williams of Mathews County. She was a member of the Burdette Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Alfred B. Stephenson of Ames, Iowa, and Cadmus W. Stephenson of Zuni, and one niece, Mrs. John C. Phines of Onemo, Mathews County. Funeral services for Mrs. Stephenson were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Burdette Baptist Church, Rev. William R. Pankey officiating.
