RAYMOND RUSSELL STEVENS 

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Raymond Russell Stevens, 68, was held 
at 2 p.m. Monday in Southampton Memorial Park by Dr. Joseph Slane. Masonic 
rites were accorded at the grave.  Holland-Rideout Funeral Home, Franklin, 
had charge.

   Pallbearers were: Jesse Harrison, George Story, Jr., Warren Beale, Holt 
Livesay, Ralph Ghivizzani and R. Baird Cabell.

   Stevens died Friday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, he was a retired welder and pipefitter 
and was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church and Morotock Masonic Lodge 
of Danville.

   Other survivors include a sister, Inez Saunders of Newport News, and a 
niece and two nephews.

   Memorial donations may be made to Franklin Presbyterian Church.

His widow died 17 Aug 2014 in Frostburg, Alleghany Co., MD, and was cremated.
